They listened to the teachers attentively. The entrance ceremony is held with a Chinese interpreter, but the graduation ceremony is all in Japanese. The students will be able to understand Japanese by then if they study hard!

The principal told them to live up tp the expectations of their parents back home, speak in Japanese as much as possible at school, and to always remember why they came to Japan. Some students had tears in their eyes remembering their parents.
