The event

☆Setsubun festival☆

☆節分豆まき☆

Today is February 3.

On February 3 every year, we celebrate Setsubun in Japan and throw beans to dispel the evil and welcome blessings.

Students of the Japanese Language Course threw beans in the park next to the school. They threw beans at a student wearing an Oni mask, while saying “Oni-wa-soto, fuku-wa-uchi.”

Many students experienced it for the first time and seemed to enjoy it.

This year, February 3 fell on the Chinese New Year. We enjoyed throwing beans in a celebratory mood.
