Do you know the meaning of “すすはらい” (susuharai)?
It refers to an annual tradition of thoroughly cleaning both indoors and outdoors to prepare for the New Year in Japan.
Today marked the last working day of the year, and before leaving, our teachers participated in a susuharai cleaning session in the office and hall.
The campus and workplace are now sparkling clean, ready to welcome the new semester and the New Year. ✨🧹
