✨School cleaning🧹🧽
Before summer vacation, all the international students took part in a thorough cleanup of the school.
We divided up tasks and carefully cleaned the areas we use daily, such as classrooms, hallways, and restrooms.
When it came to mopping the floors, some students initially asked to use mops; however, once we explained that in Japanese schools it is customary to wipe floors on one’s knees using a cleaning cloth, they diligently set to work using the cloths.
We also cleaned hard-to-reach places—such as windows, shelves, and air conditioner filters—leaving the school looking remarkably clean and fresh.
The cleanup served as a valuable opportunity to learn about Japanese school culture and the importance of working together.
We were able to welcome the summer vacation with a pleasant feeling in our sparkling clean classrooms. We look forward to seeing everyone return to school after the break with cheerful smiles.
